Abstract
In this UDM AI workshops series, four workshops are scheduled ahead of the summer break, each focusing on a distinct aspect of applied AI. In this particular session, we will begin by exploring how to generate roleplay-driven scripts and storyboards—leveraging Notebook LM for dialogue creation and ChatGPT for scene planning—and then move seamlessly into voice production with ElevenLabs. We will demystify image generation (with DALL·E and Sora), showing you how to remix, refine, and combine visuals before assembling them into a coherent video—along the way sharing tips for overcoming common hiccups when automated video tools underperform. Finally, with our demonstration in CapCut (watch Eun-Kyeong's video), you’ll learn how to trim and sync audio, add captions and sound effects, and polish the narrative flow. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have drafted a set of materials (audio/image files) ready to produce your own outreach video.

- No prior experience with AI required;
- No software installation required;
- Just bring your curiosity and your laptop!
These interactive sessions are designed to provide a collaborative and accessible introduction to AI tools and techniques, using real-world research scenarios to demonstrate their value and impact.
This initiative is part of a broader effort to enhance AI literacy across LISER and empower staff with practical, research-relevant skills.
Additional information:
- Seats are limited, so we strongly encourage early registration to secure your spot.
- The sessions will be recorded;
- Training materials will be stored in a shared folder accessible to all LISER staff;
- Materials will include step-by-step guides, datasets, and tools for further practice;
- Who can benefit most: staff who are not familiar with AI tools for research or daily work.
Join us in exploring how AI can enhance your work and open new possibilities for research and communication. We look forward to seeing you there!
